wELCOME TO OUR FAMOUS aDVENTURE sKATE LOOP at Apex Mountain Resort
Discover the thrill of this winter wonderland skating loop through the forests of Apex Mountain. Weather dependant, the skating loop is maintained daily by our own Zamboni, ensuring a smooth and sparkly skate through the trees.
Important Information
- – All participants must be wearing skates to enter the rink.
- – Helmets recommended.
- – Strollers are not permitted on the rink.
- – No carrying children or babies on the ice.
- – Must have a skate pass or seasons pass visible while using the ice surfaces
- – No hockey sticks on the skating loop

Please note: The operations of the loop are weather dependant and larger snowfalls and warmer temperatures can affect the hours.
Our new Skate Shack is located at the start of the skating loop (near the road coming into village). You can purchase your skate passes and rentals right at the loop.
Skate Shack Hours
Friday: 12 pm – 8 pm
Saturday: 12 pm – 8 pm
Sunday: 12 pm – 6 pm
Renting skates
Skates are available in our rental shop on a daily basis and in our skate shack on weekends.
To rent skates, a credit card or cash deposit is required.

Please note: If you wish to skate past the rental shop closing, the skates must be returned at the dropbox that is located at the Gunbarrel.
Pricing
You can purchase your skating loop ticket at the office or rental shop.
Skate Pass (13 +): $15.00
Skate Pass (12 & Under): $7.50
Skate Rental: $15.00
Helmet Rental: $6.00 (8 years or older)
Helmet Rental: Free (7 or under)
